Anglia Leisure Learning are using Hampton by Hilton Hotel, Exeter Airport for some of its weekend courses that run from Friday dinner to Sunday afternoon refreshments.
This newly built mid-range hotel is set in the Devon countryside, next to Exeter Airport. It is on three floors, with a couple of lifts, and there is a guest gym for those wanting to keep fit.
Currently it has 160 en suite bedrooms, all well equipped with TV, safe, tea and coffee making facilities and an area where you can sit and relax, and perhaps watch the planes at the airport. There are three bedrooms designed for disabled guests, with wet rooms, grab rails and other special features.
The meetings/course rooms, two of which have excellent natural light, are located by a break out area where tea and coffee are available all day long. The car park is large with plenty of bays for disabled drivers, and there is free Wi-Fi on site.
Meals are buffet style, with a good choice of freshly cooked dishes and are served in the light, airy restaurant.
Easily accessible, this hotel is by the A30, about five minutes’ drive from the M5 and some six miles from Exeter St David’s train station.
So, when you leave on the Sunday afternoon, you will not just simply have taken part in your course, enhanced your skills, made new friends or renewed acquaintances, but will have experienced a pampering weekend that is truly reviving and memorable.
