|Dates:||Friday, 22 September – Sunday, 24 September 2017|
|Venue:||Crowne Plaza Gatwick|
Whether you’re a complete beginner to patchwork or an accomplished stitcher, this is an excellent weekend for extending your skills and learning new ones. There’s a wide variety of different techniques on offer for creating the projects, including – of course – Gail’s ‘signature’ technique Stained Glass Patchwork.
Gail has always enjoyed working with textiles and began stitching full time about 15 years ago. She has a particular passion for variations on the stained glass patchwork technique, and encourages her students to explore this easy and effective method. She also stitches large quilts and church banners and has written numerous books on different aspects of embroidery and quilting, often taking ideas from her travel both at home and overseas.

Why Our Customers Love Our Courses
Textile artist Annette’s beautiful work contributed to my decision to learn more about patchwork and quilting. Liza from Anglia Leisure Learning made sure everything ran smoothly – thank you Liza and Annette (Morgan the tutor); it was a wonderful weekend.
Most useful to learn new techniques, have good company and meet like-minded people; an inspiring stimulating and enjoyable weekend.
I really enjoyed the course and you did and excellent job organising it. The highlight was falling in love with sewing again, after a five year gap. Thank you!
I have attended two courses in the last six months. Excellent tutors and excellent venues. I’ve learnt so many new quilting techniques. Can’t wait until the next one.
Just home from an amazing residential course with the talented Cas Holmes. Everything was so easy, from booking, the meet and greet, information packs and support whilst away. The hotel was perfect and Liza Jones did a brilliant job keeping everything running smoothly. I am already researching my next course.
